Trip Grades
A - Steep and difficult terrain. Numerous rock ledges, deep mud or water crossings. Recovery equipment is required. Winching may be incurred. (Spare pair of undies sometimes required!)
B - Challenging and exciting terrain. Recovery is possible but not always necessary. Suitable for non-standard vehicles.
C - Medium to Easy terrain. Alternative routes usually exist around obstacles. Suitable for standard vehicles.
D - Easy dirt or bitumen roads. 4WD not needed.

Weather conditions on the day may require the trip categories to e upgraded or cancelled.

Essential equipment (except Grade D)

  • Your own snatch strap

  • two rated D shackles

  • Strong towing points on the front and rear of your vehicle

  • First Aid Kit

  • Drinking water

  • UHF Radio

Calendar trips marked with a * are not an official club trip. Please contact the trip leader directly for details.

The club has limited equipment for loan. Please contact the trips co-ordinator if you wish to borrow anything.

Please register for trips via email/phone to the trip leader or sign up at a club meeting. Note that the calendar contains both official club trips and also Jeep related activities for members that are not actually run by the club.
